Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2 Srinagar Vidyalaya at the Air Force Station in the Kashmir Valley of the state of Jammu and Kashmir began as a primary school in 1978. Starting with only 200 students, it now has over a 720 students in its fold. Now infrastructure of this school is large as much, in it having GYM, Multi Purpose hall, basketball ground and football ground. The school prepares its students for services and responsibilities in nation building and inculcates a deep faith in a democratic and secular society. To achieve excellence in academics and sports, manifold indoor and outdoor facilities have been selected. Our qualified and talented staff is being regularly trained and updated on innovative technology and action research by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), Central Board of School Education (CBSE) and National Centre for Educational Research and Technology (NCERT).
